COVID-19?

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is a new

virus in the coronavirus family that causes the coronavirus disease
(COVID-19) and was first reported in China in December 2019. It has
since turned into a pandemic, causing social and economic crises and
humanitarian disaster.
Among other things, the health promotion movement has introduced
social vaccines as a complement to traditional biomedical vaccines to
address population and health determinants (Baum et al., 2009).
COVID-19?

SOSIAL VACCINE IN THE CONTEXT OF COVID-19

A sosial vaccine also enables raising (health)
consciousness about the need for joint effort and
commitment for people to adapt their action and
behaviour to apply personal and social measures to
protect and prevent against infection
In this election, we would like to emphasize that health
literacy empowers citizens through collective efforts,
acting in solidarity, building collective awareness, and
protecting people from SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 and
their side effects. Health literacy is concerned with
literacy, knowledge, and motivation, and describes the
ability to find, understand, evaluate, and apply health
information to make decisions about health care, disease
prevention, and health promotion (Srensen et al., 2012).
Solution to the probelm
People need reliable information about how to maintain and
implement a healthy lifestyle during a pandemic. This is both
in terms of physical and mental health and the lockdowns that
come with physical distancing when spending most of the
time alone and in isolation.
Conclusion
Health literacy as a social vaccine provide needed health services and
empowers citizens to protect their resources for all, and address the social,
political, commercial, and economic
own health and the health of the
determinants of health. Give it the power
population, especially vulnerable and
to take action. If applied consistently in
high-risk groups, during the corona
the post-COVID-19 era, it will also
crisis. Help governments and public contribute to larger goals such as social
health agencies make the best and political mobilization, sustainable
decisions for their citizens, development, and climate change.
