It is an undeniable fact that education plays a significant role in the lives of people, so the educational

establishments make every effort to organize their work as effectively as possible. It should be noted
that different colleges and universities have opposing viewpoints on this issue.  Although some people
endorse the view that working individually is better because the students can organize their own
study as they please, I personally believe that working on a college assignment cooperatively benefits
the learners in three obvious ways.
First and foremost, working in teams on a task is more productive. Each individual student in the team
has some strength, and the joint efforts of all the team members can yield good results. One of the
students in the team can be good at searching for information, while the other group members can have
excellent skills in organizing and writing the data. By combining their academic abilities, the team as a
whole can succeed in producing a perfect job. For example, last year I was doing a project for my history
class with other classmates, and we achieved a good outcome by working together.
Moreover, this practice can guarantee that the assignment is done in a timely manner. When you
work with a team, you have to stick to a fixed schedule which means that there is a little chance that
your group will miss the deadline for the completion of the work. Additionally, you can divide the work
among your team members, and each one will do his/her part very fast. In result, the whole task can be
finished in a short time. Otherwise, you can run the risk of postponing the work on the task if it is an
individual project and get a failing grade.
Last, but not least; teamwork is more fun and less exhausting. When you work on a serious academic
task, it is highly possible that your brain will get tired easily, and this fatigue will prevent you from
concentrating on the work. If you work alone, you need to bear all the burden of doing the job and you
will be more vulnerable to tiredness. Conversely, during a teamwork you can have breaks in-between
and have some refreshments or even joke around with the others to reduce the work tension. Thus, the
assignment may not appear too serious and labor-intensive, and your team will manage to complete it
in an enjoyable manner
In conclusion, it is my firm belief that students who work in groups on a college assignment are at an
advantageous edge over those who work on their own since teamwork is considerably more effective,
ensures that the students submit their work on time as well as it is an enjoyable way of doing serious
academic work. Hence, universities and their students should opt for the best method of doing studies
to enhance their performance.
