Discuss the mission of your university from the point of view of content, relevance, clarity,
precision, etc.

1. Reflection on the Mission :- The mission of Injibara University is Producing competent,

entrepreneurial and responsible graduates by providing quality, relevant and equitable education
and training; conducting problem-solving researches, and providing demand driven community
services.

2. Reflection on Vision ;- The Vissionof Injibara university is to be one of the three best
comprehensive Universities in Ethiopia in 2030

3. How effectively are the teachers in your HEI working towards realizing the mission and vision of
the institution?

In our university teachers are working towards realizing the mission and vision of the institution by doing
the following:-

 Complying with the rules and policies of the university,

 Striving for academic excellence, participating actively in school activities,
 Becoming a role model, passing the board exams, and conducting research.

4. What are the core values of your institution? The main core values of our university Injibara are
the following:- Customer First, Quality in All, Academic Freedom, Value for Indigenous Knowledge,
Empowering Entrepreneurship, Diversity and Tolerance, Sustainability, Ethical Commitment, Team
Work and Networking.

5 . To what extent are the above core values practiced?

The Core values of our university are important because they provide a shared understanding of what we value
as an institution, collectively framing our institution's desired culture. As much as posible we are guided by our
vision and mission and our core values support our work to advance our mission that enhancing the teaching
learnig activites. BUT the above core values are not fully implmented equaliy to the university teachers.

o1. How reasonable are the rights and duties of the academic staff as indicated in the Senate
Legislation of your University?

- Based on my understanding the Injibara University Senate legislation is somewhat good because the
academic staff can exercise their rights and duties freely without any intervention and provide the
chance to implement their own contribution for quality education. In addition, Each member of the
academic staff is can enhance the learning environment through instruction, research, scholarly activity,
and service that support the institutional mission. Every member of the academic staff, of whatever rank,
shall at all times be held responsible for competent and effective performance of his/her duties/workload
expectations and foster collegial relationships with supervisors, peers, students, and the University
community.

2. To what extent are higher education teachers in your university performing according to their
duties and responsibilities as indicated in the Senate Legislation?

Teachers in Injibara university are performing according to the duties and responsibilities as indicated
in the Senate Legislation but it varies among the teacher .

Few teachers are not responsible and not implementing according to their
