I am writing to express my great interest in applying for the Junior Fellowship Program at

CERN, which I truly believe will be the key for my goals in life: investigation and
research.After having done BTech and ME in Engineering, it is the time to start looking for
PhD, before joining any university. This is a unique opportunity to work as a researcher, in
the most prestigious laboratory in the world and if in chance will love to do my Doctorate
from the labs of CERN. I studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering, from 2012-2016, at
ITER, SOA University, where I obtained a four year bachelor's degree. The course focused
on electronics, electrical and basics of Electrical Drives, VLSI, FACTS devices and Analog
Communications. As I have always had an enormous passion for electronics subjects like
Measurements and Instrumentation Controls. The fourth year (major project) was dedicated
to sensors, transducers and microprocessors. During this year I designed a home based
security system model. After graduation, I have joined a Transformers Manufacturing Unit as
a Junior Engineer. I was assigned to test the operation and look after the maintenance of the
machines along that worked with operations of different AC and DC machines. From 2017 to
2019, I have decided to go back to University to do a Master’s Degree. During 2019 I
finished the Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics in Control System Specialization,
at Birla Institute of Technology,Mesra. I was doing my thesis project onFractional Order
Sliding Mode Controller for Twin Rotors MIMO system. With the academic course work and
the thesis literature review I have designed many other controllers for power electronic
switches, different UAVs. I have a concrete hold on the subjects of my area of interests ( Non
Linear Systems, Optimal Control Systems, Control System Design, Modern Control Theory,
Power Electronics, and Linear Algebra).

Given my career, awards and especially will to continue my studies (PhD), I have decided
that is time to work and learn more about my area of interests with the best of the minds I
found the CERN program quiet appealing, because of the institution itself, the role involved,
the possibility of doing the PhD in cooperation with CERN, working together with scientists
and engineers, continuous seek for improvement, that would challenge me every day.

Executive at DIO’ in the DRDO organization.
Offering the experience of 3 years and 2 months in the designing of electrical machines in AC and DC
