Password Reset Activity Procedure (For Employees)

Please find below the checklist to process the Password Reset Activity :

1. All the Password Reset requests need to be sent to ithelpdesk@karvy.com only and that too
from Karvy Email ID only.
2. Password Reset request from non Karvy Email ID (like Gmail, Yahoo etc….) will not be accepted.
3. The employee responsible for sending Password Reset request to ithelpdesk@karvy.com on
behalf of the employee who actually requires his/her ID’s password to be changed need to
follow the below points :

3a : Full information of the Employee who’s password needs to be changed needs to be


furnished (like Employee Name, Employee Code, Email ID and Reporting Managers Email ID)

3b : The Subject / Body should contain the information that the requester is in coordination
with the actual Employee who wants his / her password to be changed.

(For Example : The Subject line / Body should read that the requester is sending the password
reset request on behalf of the Employee (who’s password needs to be changed))

3c: Inclusion of the Employees Email ID (who’s password needs to be changed) and the
Employees Reporting Manager’s Email ID in CC during the password reset request.

4. If the Password Reset request mail is not matching with the above information, then the
ITHELPDESK coordinators will reply back to collect the appropriate information post which the
password reset will be processed.
