1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
A. Inspection Doors
Refer to fig. 1, fig. 2, fig. 3 and fig. 4
The aircraft access doors and removable panels, designed for maintenance and operation purposes, are
located according to the following identification data and are shown in the figures hereafter.
NOTE: The instructions for the removal/installation of the access panels and opening/closing of the access
doors are given in task "GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR REMOVAL / INSTALLATION OF
ACCESS PANELS AND OPENING / CLOSING OF SERVICE DOORS" . (TASK 20-30-00-910-
808).
B. Identification
The number corresponds to specific area on the aircraft where the door/panel is located (zone sequencing
(SDS 06-20-00)).
The first letter identifies the door, within each specific area, according to an alphabetical sequence starting
with letter A. Letters I and letter O are omitted.
The second letter identifies the door/panel in relation to the aircraft, when required, using the following codes:
T = Top (top and upper surface),
B = Bottom (bottom and lower surface),
L = Left hand,
R = Right hand,
Z = Internal.
Example: 523AT
523: Number of the specific area,
A: Identification letter within the area,
T: Location in relation to the aircraft.
