1. Write a reflection paper on the relevance of the Kartilya ng Katipunan towards the realization of
the nation’s independence. Your answer should be stated in three paragraphs of not less than
three but not more than five sentences per paragraph.

Filipinos have always interwoven their beliefs and values into every institution from the beginning of
time. We make it for the members' peace and guidance, as well as to reignite their virtue. The
importance of Kartilya ng Katipunan is to shape Filipinos' ideas so that they love their country and
evaluate themselves. The text is rich of ideals, but it also makes anybody who reads it think about
themselves. This figure will point the katipuneros in the right direction.

This document describes how Filipinos banded together to form a community or group to fight the
Spaniards. The truth is that Filipinos are unified, and they will continue to resist colonists to liberate
their nation, regardless of the cost. They will struggle for independence for everyone's sake,
particularly those who have given their lives for our country's liberty.

The Kartilya ng Katipunan depicts self-reflection and qualities that every katipunero must adopt. This
suggests that we are on the right track. This implied that we are all equal, whether we have light or
copper skin. Rather than condemning ourselves based on our physical appearance or imitating
Western customs, we should focus on improving and loving ourselves. We must rise up and perform
an act of patriotism.

2. Choose two of the teachings of the Katipunan and expound each in one paragraph by relating
personal experiences in life.

“Ang taong matalino’y ang may pagiingat sa bawat sasabihin, at matutong ipaglihim ang dapat
ipaglihim.”

People who reveal us their secrets indicate that they have faith in us. When I chat to someone, I
know how to keep my words to a minimum. I am a very talkative person, but you can trust me with
your secrets. Knowing someone's secrets and telling them to others is not something to be proud of.

‘’Ang tunay na kabanalan ay ang pagkakawang gawa, ang pagibig sa kapua at ang isukat ang bawat
kilos, gawa’t pangungusap sa talagang Katuiran.”
 The sense of having empathy on others is the key of being helpful a helpful person. Being a
helpful person gives you a lot of knowledge and empathy towards other people, not only it gives you
a different story of other people it also gives you a knowledge of what character do other people
have. By helping others, you can see that some of them are only there for you when they needed
help, while others are the one who will stay with you through ups and down. Being a helpful person
will be one of your strongest weapons to have.
