Plate No.1: Basement Entertainment Area with Home Theater

GIVEN:
The house is located in an urban area in Calapan, situated within an inside lot. Previously, the underground space was
just an open hall with no use other than a storage space. The family (with four members) decided to hire you as an architect to plan
the space and convert it into a mini-home theater with entertainment area.

OBJECTIVE:
To design an acoustically efficient entertainment & home theater space applying all the knowledge and learnings
discussed in Acoustics.

MATERIALS:
Drawing Instruments
A3 size bond paper

REQUIREMENT:
 Manual Drawing / scale 1:50m

DRAWING REQUIREMENTS:
 Concept & Material Board with specifications
 Floor Plan
The given space should include the following areas: Home Theater (4 pax), 4’x8’billiard table, Powder room, bar
counter, spectators chairs [ optional areas: hockey table, dart board field, other gaming machine ]
 Reflected Ceiling Plan
 4 Interior Elevation
 3 perspectives (minimum)
