This graph would better represent the

Hate Crime Victims data if the years were increasing from

2013-2017 to see the change of hate
2013-2017 crime in chronological order.
Hate Crime Victims The Column Chart better represents the
data as it is easy to navigate the year to
2013-2017 the amount of hate crime unlike the pie
graph.
This chart provides a better representation of
the data as you can read the years and hate
Hate Crime Victims crime that occured in Chronological order.

2013-2017
Being able to read the graph in Chronological
order helps you see patterns in growth of hate
crime
Hate Crime Victims After Analyzing the chart you can clearly
see that Race/Ethnicity/Ancestry have
by Category: 2017 the highest percentage of hate crime in
2017
In this assignment I learned the
amount of hate crime that has
Hate Crime Victims occured during these years as well
by Category: 2017 as the different groups affected by
these hate crimes. When analyzing
the data the Column Graph best
displays the total amount of hate
crime in years because it is easiest
the read Chronological data in order.
As for the different groups affected, I
think the Pie graph best displayed
the data to visually see the difference
in portion size of hate crime.
Eportfolio and This assignment has really opened up my
eyes to hate crime. I feel hate crime is not
Reflection the type of crime that comes to my head
when I hear of crime. I didn’t realize the
severity of the matter as well as the certain
● Emelia Videtich groups that are targeted most. What is

Eportfolio interesting to me, is the amount of hate

crime that goes unreported. The numbers
are already high but I couldn’t imagine the
number if all hate crime was reported. This
assignment has definitely made me more
aware of the these situations and made me
realise there is more to crime than just
murder and theft.
