I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson the learners will be able to;
a. Identify the moral of the story,
b. Determine the key message conveyed in the material
viewed through dramatization, and;
c. Appreciate the moral of the story through making a self
reflection.
III. Procedure

2. Review
What is literature?
What is the importance of literature?
3. Motivation
“CRISSCROSS”
The teacher will divide the class into (2) two groups.
Each group will give their own descriptive words in
each letter of the word Y-O-U-T-H, that describe the
Youth in present time.
Each group will choose (1) representative to present
their output.
4. Lesson Presentation
The teacher will divide the class into (2) two groups.
The teacher will instruct the students to select their favorite part of story where they
think it is the important part of the story.
The group will dramatize the message conveyed in the scene they selected.
Each group will only have (5) five minutes to finish the activity.
The groups will be graded according to the criteria.
Delivery 15pts
Presentation 10pts
Cooperation 5pts
Total 30pts
B. Analysis
In your chosen scene of the story, have you experienced this kind of situation in real
life?
How did that situation change your perspective in life?
Is the message of the story worthwhile? Why?
C. Abstraction
The teacher will ask the following questions:
What is the moral conveyed in the story?
Does the story develop your good decision making? In what way?
What do you think is the purpose of the author in writing the story?
D. Application
“ WHAT WILL BE?”

IV. Evaluation
Direction: In a ½ sheet of paper make a self reflection about the story, how does the moral
of the story affects you as a youth?

V. Assignment
Direction: Answer the question in a ½ sheet of paper.
1. What are your priorities in life as a student? List down at least five priorities.
