What is HD’s position in the global economy and more specially, the industrialized
world?
The HD motorcycle is one of only two companies during World War 1. During this
era, Great Depression affected the whole world hence reducing the sales of the
company to the point of bankruptcy. In global economy, the war helped HD motorcycle
to boost their sales, with this, it brought them into global market. It has become a
stepping stone to push other countries to alleviate the motorcycle industry. Many
companies may have learned to what happen during Great Depression hence, coming
up with an innovative idea that can prevent them from bankruptcy.
