Procedure
1. Fold the paper plate in half, then cut a small triangle out
of the bottom and top. Ensure you round the edges as you
cut in so it’s not a corner but a curved shape.
4. Fold a pipe cleaner in half. This will be the antenna. Glue this
onto the back of the paper plate at the top and between
the wings.

It was a summer season. A crow was flying up. He was very thirsty. He
was searching for water everywhere.
After flying a long distance he found a pot. The crow peeped into the pot
to find some water. How sad! There was very little water in the pot.

to reach inside, He thought of a plan. Then he went to collect some pebbles.
He dropped the pebbles one by one inside the pot. The water level rose high.

Procedure
1. Cut 17 squares, 4.5” x 4.5”, from different colour construction paper
(charts).
2. SCollect the pictures related to INDEPENDENCE DAY. Take two squares
out of 17. Stick the pictures on the two squares and decorate them.
3. Use glue to write the letters I, N, D, E, P, E, N, D, E, N, C, E, D, A and Y
on each of the construction paper square. Place buttons onto the glue and
let them dry.
4. Use a glue stick to add paper strip hangers (like a loop) to the back of
each of the letter squares (as shown in the pictures).
5. Insert a twine through these loops of all the letters.
6. Hang this letter banner in your class on Independence Day.
