a. Geographical information about where the organism is found

Habitat

- Polar bears are native within the Arctic Circle all the way to the North
Pole. This is because polar bears are restricted in habitats with ice during
significant part of the year.

- Polar bears can be found in the north of the Arctic Circle all the way to the
North Pole. The population of polar bears are distributed in Alaska,
Canada, Russia, Greenland, and parts of Norway's northern islands, such
as Svalbard.

b. Any interesting facts that apply to the organism

A. Diet- Being carnivores, polar bears are mainly meat eaters. Their main diet are
variety of seals like ringed seals and bearded seals. They also eat walruses and
whale carcasses.

B. Behavior
Walking/running: They run at a slow pace because of overheating
Sleep Habits: They sleep for 7-8 hours
Hygiene: Polar bears also like to be clean and dry by spending up to 15 minutes in water or by
simply licking themselves.
