School development plan for senior high school students is really a strategic strategy to achieve
school development. It should clearly and concisely summarize the school's priorities, the
primary steps it will take to increase standards, the resources allocated to these efforts, and the
important outcomes and goals it hopes to accomplish (DepedUk 2022). Findings of the study of
Altinay & Yikici (2017) revealed that that strategic planning is crucial for quality and that
education and human resources are crucial for the growth of schools.
Also, Xaba (2019), found out that school development planning is a highly technical process that
needs expertise and knowledge to be successfully carried out. It is believed that school
development planning is full of difficulties that call for a strategy that focuses on its goals,
namely school improvement and change management.

Mogren and Gericke (2017) as cited in Scherp et. Al, (2018) revealed that the identified qualities
of an effective school development plan for senior high school students are related to four key
aspects: collaborative interaction and school improvement, student-centered education,
cooperation with the local society, and proactive leadership.
Moreover, Martínez and Galíndez (2003) as cited in Diez et. Al, (2020) highlighted that there are
seven factors that lead to the best formulation of school development plan such as institutional
approach, organizational structures, relationships and living together, counseling and tutoring,
curriculum, family and the community.
