Armando’s Introduction
Ukulele
Method The Colorful Ukulele is a simple and straightforward teaching method for young children.

The student will learn basic strumming, chord positions and music notation, through the use of colors on the Ukulele fretboard.
This makes it much easier to find the correct frets and be able to play simple chords and music notes without any prior music
knowledge.

Once the first five chords are learned, the student will learn how to play ten very well-known children's songs.

The second part of this book is dedicated to learning the music notes - playing melodies combining single notes and chords.

The instrument used with this method and book needs to be adapted, adding the color patterns on the fretboard (with full
diagram and examples within to create your own!)

This book includes 35 audio tracks that accompany the lessons. They feature full demonstrations of the exercises and songs the
student will learn. The stickers sheet with the color pattern for the Ukulele fretboard is included with the book.(Follow the
instructions)

Videos examples, available at our website: www.arcoirisdelamusica.com

I thank you for getting this book for your child and hope you enjoy following this simple music method. It is tailored from my
own teaching experience with both my students and my children.

Adapting the Ukulele
Armando’s
Ukulele In our Ukulele Method, is very important to adapt the instrument with the appropriate colors for
Method every fret on the fretboard.

Here is the fretboard diagram and the picture as the example.

In the last page of this book you will find the colors charts in a stickers sheet to cut and pate on the
ukulele fretboard, as showing in this picture.

For Music Teachers and Parents
The Colorful Ukulele is a simple and straightforward teaching method
for young children.
The student will learn basic strumming, chord positions and music
notation, through the use of colors on the Ukulele fretboard. This
makes it much easier to find the correct frets and be able to play
simple chords and music notes without any prior music knowledge.
Once the first five chords are learned, the student will learn how to
Armando’s Ukulele Method play ten very well-known children's songs.

The second part of this book is dedicated to learning the music notes -
playing melodies combining single notes and chords.
