DOP
For my job role I have chosen the director of
photography. I have chosen this because I
came up with many shots for 28 minutes later
and I was the DOP for our music video the
week setting up many shots

SKILLS THE DOP NEEDS
technical camera skills, I have a very good understanding of how a
camera works and how to create an interesting and good shot. Good
communication skills help create a good work flow and it helps to get
ideas across to the rest of the team making the production go much
smoother. The DOP has to be able to think quickly to solve problems
that can arise during production. Photography skills are needed to
create good looking shots and give meaning to each shot. creative
mind, idea generation is key as you want your shots to be interesting
and engaging to watch.

MY EXPERIENCE
I thought up and set up many shots for our
documentary and I was the DOP for our music video,
I have a couple years of experience in photography. I
am also a very creative person often thinking of
different interesting looking shots just off the top of
my head writing them down to possibly use them at
a later date.
HOW DO I PLAN ON MAKING
THIS PROJECT A SUCCESS
I will do my best to make sure not only every
shot is fun interesting and engaging to look at
but that they also all have a meaning behind
them and I wont do shots just because I think
they look nice. I will work effectively with the
director, producer, sound and lighting to
create the vision of the director and create an
amazing trailer.
