Privacy Policy Details

Apple is requiring that all new App Store submissions complete a Privacy Policy checklist to list
the data captured by the app. Without it, we cannot submit any new apps or updates. Below is
a tutorial on completing the Privacy Policy for BenchPrep’s companion app. You must account
for your institutions additional internal Privacy Policy.

1. In App Store Connect, select App Privacy in the left column

2. Click the Get Started button


3. Select Yes in the Data Collection pop up

4. Under Contact Info, select Name and Email Address


5. Under Location, select Coarse Location. Then click Save.

6. With the following screen displayed, select Set up Name

7. Select Product Personalization, App Functionality, and Other Purposes. Then select
Next

8. Select Yes, then Next.

9. Continue clicking Next until you reach the following screen. Then click Save.

10. Select Set up Email Address

11. Select Analytics, Product Personalization, App Functionality, and Other Purposes.
Then select Next

12. Select Yes, then select Next


13. Click Yes, then Save

14. Select Set up Coarse Location
15. Select Analytics, App Functionality, and Other Purposes. Then select Next

16. Select Yes, then select Next

17. Click Yes, then Save
18. Click Publish
