Contract Letter
This letter of agreement will serve as the formal agreement made last October 22, 2022, between Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Brana and Palladium
Architects. The purpose of this agreement is to discuss the project overview, project scope, and the compensation or payment agreed upon by
both parties.
Project Summary
Design for the Proposed Two-Story Residential House with inclusions of a Living room, Dining room, Kitchen, powder room, guest
room, one Master Bedroom with Toilet and Bath, three bedrooms with Toilet and Bath, Family Room, Lanai, and Two Carports in a 490
sqm lot.
Project Scope
1. The Architect and the firm will cover the work of the consecutive design phases: Project Definition, Schematic Design, Design
Development, Contract Document, Bidding or Negotiation, and Construction Administration.
2. The Architect and the firm will develop and review the project scope of work, schedule, and budget to meet the project requirements.
3. The Architect and the firm will help the owner in deciding and determining services involved in the project.
4. The Architect and the firm will oversee the entirety of the project.
Compensation
The method of compensation that shall be used for the project will be Professional Fee Plus Expenses:
2.Consultants/Specialists: The Architect will work with the Owner to determine the consultancies that will be needed for the project. If
the consultant's activity necessitates cooperation with the Architect's construction drawings, the Architect will perform such collaboration for a fee
equivalent to 15% of the consultant's price. If the Architect decided to hire a specialist on the Owner's behalf, the Owner will refund the Architect
for the expenses involved.
3.Compensation is required and due upon receipt of the Architect's invoice by the client. Undisputed amounts that stayed unpaid thirty (30) days
after the outstanding balance will generate interest from the due date at a rate of 3% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, which
ever one is less, such rate will be billed on the outstanding amount.
