APPLICATION FOR DEFERMENT OF REGISTRATION

– MASTER OF SCIENCE (INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY)

We refer to your application to defer your registration for the First Trimester of the 2022/2023
Session (September 2022) dated 1 September 2022. Please be informed that your
application for the deferment of registration is approved. However, the deferment is
subjected to the offering of the programme in a particular trimester. The current Rules and
Regulations of Postgraduate Studies (clause 9.1) stated that:

“Applicants who have been accepted into a programme of study but have not
registered yet, can opt to defer their registration by sending in a written application
to the Dean. The period of deferment cannot exceed one (1) trimester.”

In view of the above, you must register within the first two weeks of the commencement of
next trimester to activate your status. Failure to do so will result in the termination of your
