RE: Letter of Intent for a Scholarship

Dear committee,

I am sending this letter to apply for the full scholarship for the Graduate Program
of Erasmus Mundus Master Impact Entrepreneurship of 2023-2024. I am writing this
letter to express my interest in applying for the scholarship offered for this
program. EMMIE would further evolve my knowledge and understanding of
Entrepreneurship and develop my learning by implementing theoretical and practical
skills that would enable me to succeed on a personal and professional level.

My Bachelor’s degree in Marketing at The Moroccan “Ecole supérieure de Technologie”

in Meknes provided me with a cohesive understanding of the marketing approaches and
sales techniques that startups and businesses need to launch a new product or
service to effectively promote their company and set themselves apart in a crowded
marketplace. In this, I learned that without strong marketing skills, an
entrepreneur can have difficulty gaining popularity and development in a start-up,
which is why mastering marketing is essential to the success of entrepreneurship.
The field of entrepreneurship is imbued with my career path, and I have taken a
fair share of efforts to always stay close to it. Throughout my academic career, I
have gained a valuable experience and knowledge in the field of marketing, such as
market research and project management, which involves planning, organizing, and
managing resources to meet specific objectives. I worked on many projects during my
undergraduate phase, which was in the form of final semester projects, where we
established a business that addressed the problems in many departments of
logistics, quality, and marketing.

My extracurricular activities are strongly related to the entrepreneurship subject

area. To constantly improve my level of competence, I started by participating in
many hackathons and competitions, where my first competition was through Hult Prize
in 2021 (US International Competition). This was my first participation in an
Entrepreneurial competition in which we formed a group to solve the problem of
bread waste management in many countries we come up with a solution to take
advantage of this left bread, and recycled it into two specific products (bread
crumbs, compost), this project had social dimensions, because it would contribute
to the eradication of hunger and poverty (zero hunger, no poverty SDGs), we ended
this competition by winning third place. I take part in another contest with the
same project in ENCG Settat where we were chosen as the winners of the contest
(first prize). As I am ambitious for the education sector, I am fortunate to be in
a hackathon participant organized by the youth of sustainable development in the
Mena region, we have developed Gen-z, an educational platform that provides Trendy
with up-to-date professional skills such as e-commerce, digital marketing, content
creation, with concise programs that offer necessary workplace courses and
integration of marketable skills such as communication and emotional intelligence,
and to improve the quality of education and the gender equality of people and
profit are our ultimate goals (quality education, gender equality SDGs).

Furthermore, working in my business helped me to understand the steps involved in

the process of the creation and development of my business idea and turning it into
a successful business model. This assisted me to develop my planning, management,
organization, and discipline skills. Throughout my participation in hackathons and
entrepreneurship competitions, I have grown in importance in terms of networking
opportunities and connecting with thriving entrepreneurs and students from diverse
backgrounds; all of these experiences honed my leadership skills.

Coming to the main motives for the scholarship entitlement, due to the economic
hurdles I have, I humbly request that the university could offer me a full
scholarship as this will help me pursue my educational endeavors with no financial
worries. I believe that by granting this scholarship, I will be able to devote more
time to focus on my studies, personal development, and future goals.
