1.0 Overview Of My Company History Of Existence

Elektrisola was founded in Germany in 1948. Dr. Gerd Schildbach, the founder. German city of
Eckenhagen's first structure 1949 Dr. Gerd Schildbach established Elektrisola on July 1st, 1948
in Eckenhagen, Germany. Dr. Ing. Richard Schildbach, his father, In 1938, he held the world
record for drawing the thinnest wire (0.008 mm), producing tiny resistance wires. Dr. Gerd
Schildbach began designing and constructing his own fine wire enamelling machinery based on
his understanding of wire drawing. The production of Elektrisola fine wire increased quickly
over the world thanks in large part to this in-house created process technique. Elektrisola
Atesina, situated in the Alp mountains in the German-speaking region of Northern Italy, began
production in 1964 as a result of the company's expansion into new markets. Elektrisola had a
successful history of exporting fine wires to the United States in the 1960s. With business
expanding, a plant in Boscawen, New Hampshire, was established in 1976 and quickly
developed into North America's largest fine wire mill. In the 1980s, sales to Asia posed a new set
of difficulties. Elektrisola Hong Kong Ltd. was subsequently established in 1984 as a trade firm.
Elektrisola (Malaysia) began operations in 1993 close to Bentong, Malaysia, to supply the
rapidly expanding Asian market with local production. Dr. Detlef and Dr. Oliver Schildbach,
sons of Dr. Gerd Schildbach, take over management of the Elektrisola Group. Elektrisola S.A.
established operations in Cuauhtémoc, Mexico, in 1995. In 1997, Huber & Suhner and
Polydraht, both in Switzerland, were acquired along with their manufacture of ultrafine wire.
Elektrisola France took over the operations of the agent northwest of Paris in 1999 as distributor

1
and agent to market primarily magnet wire after the death of the Elektrisola agent in France.
Elektrisola Korea was founded as a trade company in 1999. In Elektrisola Eckenhagen,
Germany, taped, profiled, and extruded litz wire production began. China has grown to be a key
emerging market for the electronics sector. Elektrisola Hangzhou was established. Elektrisola
Indonesia, Elektrisola India, and the Thailand Representative Office were all established for the
purpose of enhancing service in Asia in 2005, 2006, and 2008, respectively. Italian sales
organisation taken over Elektrisola has opened a new office in Biassone with funding from Cofili
S.r.l. Production of litzwire for high strength began in Elektrisola Malaysia, while High Tension
Copper Clad Aluminium was produced at Elektrisola Feindraht in Switzerland for use in
enamelled wires. Elektrisola Feindraht, Switzerland, has a new hall for solar wires. Elektrisola
Hangzhou has undergone significant expansion. Elektrisola Mexico has seen significant
expansion to support the local car market. Lastly, Elektrisola, a major expansion in Hangzhou,
China.

2.0 Describe The Products Does My Company Offer

The Elektrisola Group is the top producer of fine and ultra-fine enamelled copper wires in the
entire world. The goods are supplied to a broad range of industries for the production of
consumer electronics, medical devices, timepieces, consumer electronics, and automotive and
industrial electronics.
The business is now able to create tiny wires with diameters ranging from 0.010 mm to
0.50 mm thanks to a special and exclusive technology developed by Dr. Gerd Schildbach. A
human hair is eight times finer than a wire with a diameter of 0.010 mm, for comparison. The
Elektrisola Group's guiding principle is to solely produce and provide high-quality goods to its
clients. IEC-Asia Enamelled Copper Wires in ASIA. Different types of enamelled wire are
specified by IEC 60317. The tests mentioned are IEC 60851, which JIS has also adopted in part.
There are numerous varieties of enamelled wire available. The various insulations are
detailed in many standards, including IEC 60317 (for Asia or Europe), NEMA MW 1000 (for the
USA), and JIS C 3202 (for Japan), some of which still employ various test procedures. Values in
inches and metric units are provided for NEMA MW 1000C. The typical technical values for the
various insulation materials, such as polyurethane, polyester, polyesterimide, and polyimide, are
provided under the relevant standard.

Clear Pvc Pipe, Copper magnet wire, enamelled Copper Wire and Winding wire, selfbonding
wire, litz wire, fully insulated wire.
Metallic conductor enamelled wire is typically utilized in electrical applications since it is
varnish-insulated. The majority of the time, enamelled wire is twisted into various coil forms to
produce magnetic force for motors, transformers, magnets, etc. With the most significant
variations, Elektrisola produces over 30,000 different varieties of enamelled wire.
Bondable magnet wire, also known as self-bonding enamelled wire (SB-wire), is film-
insulated wire that has a second layer of bonding glue applied to it. Litz wires are employed in a
variety of applications that call for good flexibility and high frequency performance. They are
made up of many rope-like bunched single insulated wires. High frequency litz wires are
commonly employed in applications operating in the frequency range of 10 kHz to 5 MHz and
are created utilizing several single wires that are electrically insulated from one another.
Building switching transformers normally uses FIW, however FIW (Fully Insulated
Wire) is an alternative wire (Triple Insulated Wires). A multilayer coating procedure is used to
create FIW, ensuring flawless insulation.

3.0 Discuss Any THREE Types Of Information Systems Employ In My Company

The efficiency and production of the business can be greatly improved by modern
technology. Systems of information are not an exception. They are used by businesses all over
the world to investigate and create novel strategies for bringing in money, attracting customers,
and streamlining laborious operations. Businesses may make better decisions with an

3
information system while saving time and money. Internal business divisions like marketing and
sales can communicate more effectively and share information more readily.
This technique minimizes human mistake because it is automated and employs sophisticated
algorithms. Team members now have access to a vast amount of data from a single platform
thanks to current information technology. For instance, they may quickly acquire and interpret
data from various sources, including suppliers, clients, warehouses, and sales representatives.
The Type of Information System employ in my company is :

3.1 Transaction Processing System(TPS)

Every day, my organization performs business. In essence, a business transaction happens every
time an organization provides a good or service to its clients. It also covers the organization's
everyday management and primary management tasks. Examples include generating an invoice
for a customer for products supplied and doing it at a predetermined time so the user may
efficiently manage their time. The transaction processing system (TPS) is introduced in order to
carry out these transactions more successfully and effectively. Its primary duty is to compile all
data pertaining to business transactions, process that data, and generate pertinent output.
The primary goal of the TPS is to gather the necessary data to perform organizational
activities precisely and effectively. Other goals consist of allowing the organization to function
successfully and efficiently, timely preparation of reports and documentation, Increasing the
organization's competitive advantage, preparing reliable data, such as data for the MIS and
decision support system, for the strategic and tactical systems (DSS) and ensuring the facts and
information are reliable and accurate. Additionally the goals are to regulate the security of the
data and information and help maintain users' or customers' loyalty. The objectives are to
regulate the security of the data and information and help maintain users' or customers' loyalty.
runtime operations on a system
Data integrity, availability, and security are all guaranteed by the execution environment
provided by transaction processing systems. Additionally, they provide high transaction
throughput and quick response times.
Functions of system administration

4
Systems for processing transactions offer administrative assistance that enables users to set up,
maintain, and administer their transaction systems.
Functions of application development
Transaction processing systems offer features for use in unique business applications, such as
data access, intercomputer connection, and user interface design and management.
3 main TPS techniques, which are as follows:
3.1.1 Batch processing - where all transactions are gathered together for a set amount of
time before processing.
3.1.2 Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) - As soon as the transaction happens, it is
processed.
3.1.3 Hybrid System (Online Entry with Delayed Processing)- This procedure or
approach combines the two prior techniques.
The cycle of activity for transaction processing's six primary responsibilities:

3.2 Human Resources Management System

5
A set of software programmes called an HRMS, or human resources management system, is used
to manage human resources and related procedures throughout the employee lifecycle. An
HRMS gives a business the ability to completely comprehend its employees while maintaining
compliance with evolving tax and labour legislation.
Processing information on the staff of the organization is a key component of human
resource management. The human resource department's mission is to better and more
effectively manage the organization's usage of its people resources. In order to facilitate planning
for fulfilling staff needs, staff development, and control over staff policies and programmes, the
human resources information system was created.
Computer-based information systems are used by organizations to create payslips and staff
payment reports, store employee records, and analyze the utilization of employees in corporate
operations. The four primary tasks of human resource management are as follows:
a. Staff's recruitment and hiring,
b. Staff’s education and training
c. Staff’s data management
d. Staff’s pay and benefits.
The primary function of human resource management is:

Staff resources flow in an organization

3.3 Management Information System (MIS)

A system called MIS has the ability to process information, which includes gathering,
processing, storing, and disseminating data in the form of information through analytical
processing and communicating information to those who require it.
The development of a workable system to maximize the efficient use of cutting-edge data
approaches to management practices is the goal of MIS. It also aims to help managers at higher
levels of management create timely and accurate information that can be used to make decisions
about current and future operations as well as to spot potential issues that need to be fixed.
Organizations can save operating costs and give their staff valuable time back by using MIS.
costs. Business information may now be quickly and simply loaded into a computer by a data
processor, eliminating the need for manual processing that was once required for filing and
analysis. This allows the organization as a whole to make decisions and react to situations more
quickly. As effective decision-making requires accurate, timely, and relevant information, this
had fairly significantly aided decisions made in organizations. Corporate intelligence systems
(MIS) cannot develop business strategies on their own, but they can help management
comprehend the implications of their strategies and support efficient decision-making. Data can
be transformed into information for decision-making using MIS systems.

7
4.0 Discuss On The Benefits Of These Systems To The Staff, Customer And Company
The following are some benefits or advantages of employing this information system for
management and a business overall.

4.1 Benefits of using TPS

The benefits of TPS is to maintain a reliable database and lowers the chance that user
information will be lost in the event of a terminal or network failure. Depending on what stage
the transaction was in when the system failure happened, the TPS is able to handle system
failures and recover successfully from operating system failures. The large amounts of data can
be processed by the TPS in batches or in real time. The implementation of TPS within
enterprises is crucial for enhancing customer happiness and service. During transactions, a TPS
enables the user or client to feel reliable and confident. TPS is quick and economical. Moreover,
Errors that occur during data exchanges are reduced in frequency by using TPS in enterprises.
TPS also can be used in batch and real-time processes. The TPS is made to be simple to use. It is
adaptable since it promotes real-time online payment systems and expands the number of
available payment options. TPS works everywhere. This means that using a transaction
processing system is complicated by factors such as distance, geography, language, or operating
systems.

4.2 Benefits of using Human Resource Management System

The main benefit of using HRMS is improved self-service for employees. Employees can update
their basic information using modern HRM systems without consulting the HR division. The HR
team may now concentrate on more crucial and difficult duties because they have more free time.

Additionally, it enhanced personnel management. HRMS helps to reduce day-to-day

administrative tasks. It automates some of the processes which enable collecting data in a central
database, improve business workflow, and add visibility to that information by introducing charts
and graphs.

Also provides better performance from employees. Clear objectives and feedback make it
simpler to achieve good results. You will both feel confidence in what you are doing if you and
your staff have clear goals established and the required training and resources are made
available. As a result, your team will operate more productively, realise greater success, and reap
rewards. Automation of routine activities, more improved data security, improved KPI tracking,
Cost-effectiveness, efficient data management and tracking and reduction of human error.

4.3 Benefits of using Management Information System are such as :

1. Increasing data precision
A corporation needs accurate data since it affects strategic choices. MIS is a tool that gives the
business the precise data it needs. To improve the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative
activities, the system automatically processes incoming data. Additionally, you may instantly
access the needed data in the system with the aid of internet technologies.
2. Encourage cooperation

8
Additionally, this system offers information services for planning, observing, and exercising
administrative control. Data can be used by other departments or departments in need from the
information that is produced. Information technologies also make it easier for management to
assign work to other people. Without having to physically meet, departments may coordinate
rapidly as well.
3. raising the bar for human resources quality
What does an executive management information system entail? Of course, the effectiveness of
the company's human resources will be impacted when information data is promptly and
precisely accessible. Whether they like it or not, HR who utilise this system must modify their
work processes to keep up with technological advancements. The future success of your business
development will unquestionably be impacted by the quality of your resources. Use just the HR
software you know and trust.
4. Lower operating expenses
If MIS has been successful for your business, this approach will lessen human error. The
productivity of the currently employed human resources will rise with the least amount of errors.
Additionally, circumstances like these unquestionably lower the costs associated with running
the business.

5.0 Discuss On Challenges Of These Systems To The System Developers And User
The challenges experienced include :
TPS must be created specifically to meet the needs of the organisation or business. TPS
installation and setup costs could be high. There is no established format for using TPS.
Incompatible hardware and software could prevent TPS installation. Specialized staff are needed
for TPS maintenance. If the company is too small to use one, a TPS can be challenging to
manage. To use its services, a user might require a strong internet connection. Due to the nature
of it being online, third party intervention (such hackers and identity theft, etc.) may happen in
real time. Firewalls must be updated frequently or they risk losing clients because they are
insecure. TPS needs a large staff that works in teams to maintain inventories. Requests could
overload the system, which could cause websites to crash and lose real-time data.

Among the challenges encountered in HRMS are such as uncoordinated, clumsy

platforms resulting in poor reporting and data. More over, IT support and add-ons that are costly
and time-consuming managing multiple vendors. Not being scalable, Issues with compliance and
insecure data transit or storage.

The Management Information System has identified a number of concerns, including the
inability to strategize, fulfilling organisational needs, finding and keeping quality people, staying
current, and integrating all of technology are common MIS issues. The root of many of the
most prevalent MIS problems is a lack of a sound strategy. The numerous technologies available
to obtain data on their network are well known to information systems leaders. But it can be
difficult to put that knowledge to use. Therefore, Innovations require software to be updated and
even changed from one year to the next. Businesses need to keep up with this by investing in
software that will give them an advantage in order to stay competitive. With employees
depending on technology for every area of business operations, MIS is becoming more and more
important in enterprises.

6.0 Discuss On How Can These Systems Be More Competitive To Leverage Staff
Productivity Or Business Profit
The solution includes a customizable workflow management engine that can make it easier to
smoothly integrate all the organization-specific tasks. Comprehensive reporting and analytics
provide insights that can be put to use, allowing you to create a highly productive workplace.

While using HRMS Automate salary computation to guarantee legal compliance, minimise the
possibility of inaccurate deductions or payments, approved for employee salary transfers by
KWSP, LHDN, SOCSO, and the majority of Malaysian banks (including online bank GIRO). It
also integrated with software for attendance, leave, and claims, which simplifies the entire
payroll calculation process. Our payroll and HR software includes essential payroll functions like
access to pay stubs, filing taxes, retrieving reports as well as HR management functions like
leave information, staff issues. It also has capabilities for changing settings to suit your needs.

Utilize TPS Systems to increase competition so that the company can increase employee
productivity or business profit. Real-time TPS is more appropriate for businesses since it delivers
an immediate response to every transaction handled, in contrast to batch processing, which
requires time. Examples of outputs include reports, query results, and transaction papers.

7.0 Other Issues Related From These Systems Such As Matter In Security, Quality, Etc
In HRMS system the Internal and external, or cloud, web applications that handle payroll and
HR data are some of an organization's most susceptible systems. Additionally vulnerable are
laptops and other mobile devices, including the phones and tablets of HR workers. There are
significant commercial dangers associated with any password, SQL injection, or unprotected
device flaw.

In MIS the business intelligence applications accelerate from a management standpoint, which
has an influence Managers can make better decisions by using interactive dashboards and more
potent data analytics to get real-time performance information.
