A. TELLING DATE AND TIME
1. Telling Date

Tujuan: Siswa mampu menyebutkan tanggal dan jam secara tepat.

Writing dates in English can be done in a variety of ways. Here are some common ways
to write dates in British and American English.

In English, they always use ordinal numbers to say the date. Here are the ordinal
numbers list.

B. PART OF THE BODY
Tujuan: Siswa mampu mengidentifikasi anggota bagian tubuh dengan fungsinya.
1. External part and their functions
The Functions:
1. Forehead: to help people express basic
emotions.
2. Eyebrow: to prevent sweat, water, and other
debris from falling down into the eye socket.
3. Eye: to see
4. Ear: to hear/listen
5. Nose: to smell or breathe
6. Mouth: to eat/talk
7. Chest: to protect the vital organs
8. Arm: to reach out and grab anything.
9. Stomach (perut): to store and macerate food,
and begin early phases of food digestion.
10. Hand: to hold things.
11. Leg: to move/walk
12. Knee: to bend/crouch
13. Foot: to bear weight and allow locomotion.

2. Internal parts and their functions


The Functions:
1. Brain: To control center of the nervous
system and to think.

2. Lungs: To provide oxygen.

3. Heart: To pump blood.

4. Liver: To process the contents of the blood.

5. Stomach/side (lambung): To digest food.

6. Kidneys: To maintain the body’s chemical


balance.

7. Small intestine: to absorb most ingested


food.

8. Large intestine: to be responsible for


absorption of water and excretion of solid
waste material.

D. SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE
Tujuan: Siswa dapat melengkapi kalimat dengan kata kerja yang tepat.

E. FOR AND SINCE
Tujuan: Siswa mampu membedakan penggunaan “since and for” dengan tepat.

We usually use FOR (selama) to talk about a period of time (rentang waktu). And
we use SINCE (sejak) to talk about a specific point in the past (waktu spesifik yang
telah terjadi).

Examples:

FOR SINCE
I have worked here for eight years. I have worked here since 2012.
You have played football for five years. You have started to play football since last year.
We have taught at this school for a long I haven’t ridden a horse since I was 8.

She has been in Sydney for six months. I haven’t been on holiday since last year.
