CMS Server installation guidance

This document is trying to give a brief guidance for the CMS server installation.

1 Recommended server host feature


OS Windows server 2012 R2 or +
CPU Intel Xeon E5-4640 V4 or +
Memory 64 GB or +
Storage 1 TB or +
Internet bandwidth 100M fiber or +
Please check if all the necessary ports have been enabled on firewall and map to the public
network

2 Server software installation


2.1 Run the installation package as “Run as administrator”

Click “Next” for continue.

Select “Complete” to install the software to default directory in disk C.
Select “Custom” to change the installation directory.

DO NOT install the software to the root directory. Must create a sub folder, like C:\Program
files(x86) \ CMS server.

Click “Install” to start the installation, please note it will take around 10 mins.

Click “Finish” to finish installation process, then “Net Config Tool” will start automatically

2.2 Server status check.


Double click the “Server Control” in the task bar, to open the “Server Control” dialog.

At this stage, all the services should go green, if not, skip it first, go for network setting first.

2.3 Network configuration setting.
This tool will automatic open for manually check the network settings
Check on the “Media Public IP”, this should be the server public IP address, also will be the device
connection IP.
Use the tool to re-configure the setting if is necessary.
Click “Modify Config” to save and apply the changes.

After hit the “Modify Config” service in the may go for a restart to apply the setting.

2.4 Re-start the server host.
Re-start the server host to make sure all the system to be initialized.

2.5 Server status check.


After a re-start the server, double click the “Server Control” in the task bar, to open the “Server
Control” dialog.
Here, all the system should be go green.

If there are one service or multiple services still shows in “Red” color.
Click re-start the service by clicking the “Stop all server” and “Strat all server”, this could take
5 mins depending on the server hardware performance.

If it still shows in “Red”, or any other issues, please contact us for support.

3 PC Client software
DO NOT install the software to the root directory. Must create a sub folder, like C:\Program
files(x86) \ CEIBA2.
Use the client software to log into the server.
Default account for server Administrator user login:
Login Type: Server (here you may manage online application)
Username: admin,
Password: admin

Default account for client software login:


Login Type: Local ((here you may have play pack the footage function only.)
User: admin,
no password.
