Procedure to be followed for filling of Bakijai / Certificate cases before the District Level Revenue

authority:-

1. Duly filled-up From No. 2 (Specimen copy enclosed-as per Section 5 under Bengal Public Demand
Recovery Act, 1913) to be addressed to the Certificate Officer with Seal and Signature of Branch Head.
2. Before filing of Cases it is to be ensured that the particular loan documents i.e. D.P. Note, Balance
confirmation letter / deposit slip signed by the borrower are within the limitation period and submit
certified copies of the same along with Form No. 2.
3. Required Ad-Valorem court Fee as per chart enclosed is to be attached on the basis of claim amount
i.e. outstanding loan amount with up-to-date (date of submission of case) interest at contractual rate.
4. Form No.1 and 3 (to be issued by the Certificate officer) are to be submitted in duplicate along with
Form no. 2 against each borrowal account.
5. Copies of Notices issued to the borrower for repayment of loan and a copy of duly acknowledged
Sanction Letter are to be submitted along with Form No. 2.
6. In case of sponsored proposal, copy of forwarding letter of sponsoring agency / application of the
borrower to be submitted along with Form No. 2.

Ad Valorem Court Fee for filing of cases with Bakijai / Certificate Officer may be purchased by depositing challan
to treasury office. The cost of Ad valorem fee is required to be debited from Law charges recoverable account
(<Sol id >105829802) against each borrower after maintaining proper record for realization of the amount in due
course of time.
