Functions
Subscriber channel processing
The GCB4 modulate the packet data, which is received from GMA1 and transmits it through CPRI to RRH
Reversely, it demodulates the data received from RRH and converts it to the format defined in LTE physical layer
standard and transmits it to GMA1.
CPRI interface
The GCB4 interfaces with RRH through CPRI
As GCB4 contains a built-in Electrical to Optic (E/O) conversion device and an Optic to Electrical (O/E) conversion
device.
The GCB4 can also run loopback tests to check whether the interface between GCB4 and RRUs is in good condition
for proper communication.
