When applying for a student visa to Malta, it is important to have
confirmed accommodation proof. This means that the applicant
must be able to provide evidence of where they will be staying while in Malta.
There are several options for accommodation that a student can
choose from. One option is booking a hotel for 1 month, but it is important to note that this accommodation must be pre-booked and verifiable, meaning that the authorities will call the hotel to verify the amount paid and dates booked.
Another option is finding private landlord-based accommodation. In
this case, the student will need to submit a rental contract that includes their name, address, and passport number, as well as the ID proof and contact details, including email address and mobile number, of the landlord for verification.
The third option is college hostel accommodation. For this option,
the student will be liable to pay €450 as rent and deposit, and there will be a refund of €100 after the 1 month accommodation. The student can pay the accommodation fee via bank transfer or direct payment. The college accommodation does not include food, but including 2 meals per day for 1 month costs extra €200* other than rent. Food price shall be slightly vary based on the raw material’s market price.
