A BIT OF HISTORY
The person who came up with the
classification of hotels by "stars" was,
Conrad Hilton. He was the person, by
analogy with the stars on cognac,
who introduced a system - the more
stars, the better the service and
quality of the hotel.
CLASSIFICATION OF HOTEL
01
This is the least quality hotels, in
most cases providing a minimum level
of service. The standard double room
is less than 10 sq.m., there is a
wardrobe or hanger, as well as chairs,
a washbasin and a mirror. Two towels
are provided for each resident.
02
Two-star hotels are very similar
to one-star hotels, but most
often they have their own
bathroom and toilet. Also in the
room may be a TV, but for the
remote from it be prepared to
pay. The hotel has a restaurant
or cafe, and guests are offered a
variety of meals.

There are Kazakhstani 4-5 star hotels and there are chain "giants" like
Marriott, The Ritz-Carlton, Hilton, Radisson, Rixos, InterContinental hotels.
International hotel chains are good in that they have more or less common
requirements for service in their establishments, regardless of where they
are located.
Conclusion
Concluding all of the above, it can be
understood that the star system in the hotel
business is needed in order to divide them
according to the level of comfort, services
provided and prices. In different countries, this
system may differ, but they are still equated to
a star system. There is a whole organization
that assigns stars to hotels. However, quite
often hotels do not meet the comfort
requirements accepted, for example, for
European hotels with a similar number of stars.
