Foreword The Australian Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) is a national non-profit organisation dedicated to increasing knowledge and understanding of the use of structural steel in our society. Through planned research and development programmes, industry seminars and publishing technical work the Institute provides leading edge technology and best practice engineering solutions contributing to the growth of structural steel in Australia.
