How To Restore An Aos Based Netenforcer To Factory Defaults: Sg-Sigma
ootThe instructions below to revert the NetEnforcers to factory default are divided into sections, thus applicable for all AOS based products, based
on their components.
SG-Sigma
1. Connect to the host blade with console over the serial inte
rface.
2. Reboot the host blade.
3. during the boot sequence type 'cnf' and you will see a two line menu appear on screen

using arrow keys you can toggle between the boot modes. the default is system use the down arrow key to select rescue to become the
boot partition.

5. Access the util directory, where you will find Restore to Factory script
root@host-blade:~# cd /usr/local/utils/
root@host-blade:/usr/local/utils# ls
*makeImage.sh* *retToFactoryDef.sh*
root@host-blade:/usr/local/utils#
WARNING !!! This operation will delete ALL your disc !!!

9. elfload (bootcmd2)
10. userapp xlr_loader linux_cpu_mask=0x0000000f hostname=XLR-732 (bootcmd3 without root=/dev/hda3)
11. After reboot, you get the prompt "localhost login:" ('root' user, rescue partition=>" How to restore an AOS based NetEnforcer to
factory defaults$")
12. cd /opt/allot/bin
13. ./restore_factory_defaults
14. Reboot
- you might have to type 'cnf' for two different boot prompts
