    A traffic fatality occurred on eastbound I-10 between I-65 and Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, Alabama on January 30, 2023 at approximately 6:00 am. Christopher Means, 29, was riding his motorcycle when he lost control and was thrown from the vehicle, striking multiple cars. One driver remained on the scene while Mr. Means was pronounced dead at the location. Investigator Colton Futral requests that anyone with information contact him.

    January 30, 2023

    Traffic Fatality on I-10 between I-65 and Dauphin Island Parkway.

    On Monday, January 30, 2023, at approximately 6:00 a.m., officers responded to eastbound I-10
    between I-65 and Dauphin Island Parkway in reference to a motorcycle crash. Upon arrival,
    officers located Christopher Means, 29, in the middle lane of Eastbound I-10. Mr. Means was
    pronounced deceased at the scene.

    The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was riding his motorcycle Southbound on
    the I-65 ramp to Eastbound I-10 when he lost control of the motorcycle. The rider was thrown
    from his motorcycle and struck by multiple vehicles; however, one driver remained on the scene.
