KESHAV – APPLICATION ROADMAP – MICRO (3 MONTHS BREAK UP)

DURATION – Nov’22 – Jan’23 – 12 WEEKS

We take 10 aspects of a good applicant profile and work on them on weekly basis

WEEK 1 – PROJECTS
a. research on certain topics of your interest and try to narrow down your project
interests.
b. The projects you work on don’t necessarily have to be a part of your curriculum. You
can pick any subject you like, maybe get a partner, tap into all the resources you
need, and start working on it.
c. Connect with us for detailed discussion and clarifications on your project work.

WEEK 2 – COURSE CERTIFICATIONS


a. The first thing you need to do is list down all your strengths and weaknesses. Then,
pick out the most interesting courses you like and figure out how much you are willing
to spend.
b. Do your research on preferred courses and get yourself enrolled in one course at a
time. Look for online courses offered by the topmost universities.

WEEK 3 – RESEARCH PAPERS


a. Research, analyse and conclude about your probable research topic.
b. Connect with us for extensive brainstorming about the latest trends, popular topics and
how to pen down a research paper.
c. Once you’re through with it, you can send it out to get published and see how the
experts in your community receive it.

WEEK 4 – INTERNSHIPS
a. Your internship MUST be in the field of your career interest. Not only will you learn
about your field but you will also gather knowledge of the industry you end up
working in
b. Initiate discussions with your mentors about possible internship options and how
closely they are related to your subject interest.
c. Start communicating with internship providing companies/firms.

WEEK 5 – SCHOOL COMMITTEE


a. Joining a school committee enhances your profile a lot.
b. Your school must be having plethora of clubs/committees. .It could be the drama
club, the cultural committee of your college, chemistry club, a committee of
computer science enthusiasts, etc.
c. Join one or more club/committee which matches with your interests.
WEEK 6 – COMMUNITY SERVICE
a. When we say community work, we don’t mean you have to sign up with an NGO,
volunteer for a couple of months, get a certificate.
b. You can volunteer at a local NGO, join a summer program, or do something by
yourself, like organizing a locality-cleaning drive or a plantation drive.
c. Discuss with mentors about doing something on your own at your local surroundings.

WEEK 7 – ENTREPRENEURSHIP
a. Starting something of your own will help you build your profile and your personality.
b. Research on various options available for this which aligns with your interest areas.
c. Discuss with your mentors about the planning, execution, outcomes and feasibility of
your venture.

WEEK 8 – EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES


a. It’s not necessary to be skilled at a hobby
b. List all the activities you have participated or is interested. Sort out the ones you are
really inclined towards. Continue/start reliving them.
c. Discuss with mentors about how to add these activities on your current profile.

WEEK 9 – SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE


a. Before getting started with this point, search your name on Google and see what
shows up. This is your current image on the internet. And it’s very likely that this is
what the universities will be seeing when they evaluate your application.
b. Start working on the aspects that needs to be added on your current profile.
c. Update your social media pages on a regular basis with all aspects of yours like
academics, extra- curricular activities, internship, community service project etc.

WEEK 10 – EXPRESS YOURSELF


a. When you’re done with any aspect of your profile, write brief description of the same
and share the draft with your mentors to get a second-opinion.

Week 11 & 12 – THOROUGH EVALUATION


a. Use these two weeks for thorough and extensive evaluation of your progress with all
the above mentioned aspects of profile building.
