CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

This chapter presents the summary of the findings of the proponents and

conclusions about the establishment of JASE Pastries. At the end of this chapter,

recommendations for business operations are suggested.

Conclusions

Based on the study and research that we conducted, the business is

feasible and viable. Awareness in eating healthy products is the main objective of

the business, and JASE Pastries products are made with a healthy ingredient,

which is the malunggay powder. An online survey consisting of 100 respondents

was conducted and the results of the survey indicates that the business is

preferable and in demand to the customers. Survey shows that respondents who

are living in Rodriguez Rizal, where the shop is going to establish, are willing to

buy and patronize the JASE Pastries products. The results of the projected

income statement and projected cash flow statement also show that the JASE

Pastries business is feasible and viable. This is based on a positive return on

investment that is greater than the cost of capital.

Based on the proven statements and evidences stated on the chapters of

the research, the proponents of this project strongly conclude that establishing

JASE Pastries is possible. Therefore, the proponents decided to continue the

establishment of JASE Pastries. The management of the business is not that

complicated because all the partners on business are involved, and if any

misunderstanding occurs, the policies and the agreement will determine to

resolve it.

Perceived Risk

Implementing an efficient risk management plan will ensure better

outcome for JASE Pastries in terms of cost and time. Some risks for JASE

Pastries are: fluctuations in prices of raw materials that affects product

manufacturing process, meeting of the expectations of your customer, limited

growth opportunities because there are already a lot of bakeries. It is inevitable to

have risks and the management should have better strategies to deal with it. As

the saying goes, “Prevention is better than cure”, and for the long-term survival of

JASE Pastries, it also depends on its ability to manage risks.

Recommendations

For the JASE Pastries operation, some actions are recommended.

The first is that JASE Pastries customers should be put on priority. Always give

them comfort and satisfaction, make a friendly customer service that will surely

make them always visit the store. This is also a way to maintain and sustain store

sales targets. Second, the extensive promotion of the JASE Pastries products is

recommended to attract more customers. Lastly, ensuring consistent and

efficient production management is recommended. This will keep the JASE

Pastries products at low cost and in a timely manner.
