Examples of Regular and Irregular Verbs in Past Tense:

1. Regular Verbs: Regular verbs follow a set pattern in their formation of past tense, which
is by adding "-ed" to the base form of the verb. For example: "talk" becomes "talked."

2. Irregular Verbs: Irregular verbs do not follow the set pattern for formation of past tense.
For example, "eat" becomes "ate."
