Has genetic science gone too far?

Today, life with the help of genetic science is much easier than in the past.
But is genetic science only useful or has it become harmful? In my view, genetic
science has not gone too far, being beneficial to humans.

In the first place, there are many good medical reasons for experimenting
with genetic engineering. With the help of genetics, almost all diseases can be
detected and treated, and the lives of millions of people around the world can
be saved.

Furthermore, genetic engineering could provide a solution to the world's

famine problems. If genetic engineering technology continues to evolve, it will
be possible to clone animals such as cows and sheep, as well as plants, which
will be enough for everyone.

Opponents of this view say that genetic science is moving forward far too
fast and negative effects can occur in the normal course of nature. The
possibility of scientists finding a way to create human beings in an artificial way
frightens most people.

In conclusion, genetic science can play a very important role in solving the
problems facing the world. It is good to search for ways to improve our lives,
but we must be aware of the consequences that come with the benefits.
