Application and Assessment
Answer the following questions cogently but honestly.

1. How would you describe yourself?

 I can describe myself as a simple girl. I am a proud kpop fan and love collecting their
merchandise. I am a fun person to be around especially if we have something in common. I love
having a lot of friends and I like travelling. My body and mind become more peaceful and relax
when I travel.

2. What are the influences of family in your development as an individual?

 My family is the one who supports me in everything I do. When I have a problem, they are there
to support and help me solve them. When I did something good, they always say they are proud
of me. And when I make mistakes, they are there to reprimand and remind me of the right
things to do. Because of them I become what I am today.

3. Think of a time when you felt you were your “true self.” What made you think you were truly who
you are during this time of your life?

 When I am with my family and closest friends. There is no reason for me to hide my true self
from them. They always say they love me no matter what personality I have. I just need to show
who I truly am.

4. Following the question above, can you provide a time when you felt you were not living your “true
self”? Why did you have to live a life like that? What did you do about it?

 When I talk to someone who is higher than me in other words my boss. I don’t want to offend
my boss in the way I talk or interacts with them. I tend to become more respectful of them
because they are higher than me.

5. What social pressures help shape yourself? Would you have wanted it otherwise?

 Becoming approachable to others. No, I don’t want it otherwise because I gained a lot of true
friends when I started to approach others. My friends help me shape my true self.

6. What aspects of your self do you think may be changed or you would like to change?

 I guess my low self-esteem. I tend to overthink most of the time but I am trying to change it
now.
