This document describes a mobile application called the Garage Management Application. The application aims to manage garage activities online to reduce manual paperwork. Key features include tracking users and vehicles, responsive design, delivery/pickup options, and online payments. It allows users to enter vehicle details, select repair types and see estimated costs. Users can then pay bills and view service history online. The application is intended to make the process more efficient for both customers and garage administrators. It reduces the need for in-person interactions and maintains digital service records.

ABSTRACT This project enables the user to keep track of all the activities of a garage. It is a mobile application which helps the user to manage the stocks available in the garage, check for repair estimates, delivery etc. The main purpose of the application is to provide the best service with online paper work which ease outs the manual work of the customers. The system will be able to record the service details of vehicles which was earlier done manually. Keywords: Online, Customers, Garage, Application, Admin. I. INTRODUCTION This project is a mobile application which helps the user to manage the specific activities of a garage. This application will be user friendly/easy to use. The system will be able to record the service details of vehicles which was earlier done manually. The user login/sign-in page where the user will be given access to specific modules will be displayed first and shall login/sign-in and manage the activities of our system. The admin will be accessible to each and every module from the user’s information to managing them and what parts are needed and their stocks available in garage, etc. Aim: The main purpose of the application is to provide the best service with online paper work which ease outs the manual work of the customers. The system will be able to record the service details of vehicles which was earlier done manually. Following are our major aims of the project: It helps to eliminate manual process by conducting everything online. Saves a lot of money and time. The work of admin become easier and quicker. Also in terms of security it is trustworthy. Features: Keeps track of different users. User Friendly Interface. Responsive application, as most of the customers now are on their phones, tablets, ipads, etc. Delivery or the pickup option. Online payment can be done. II. LITERATURE SURVEY The system will be able to record the service details of vehicles which was earlier done manually. The user log- in/sign-in page where the user will be given access to specific modules will be displayed first and shall login/sign- in and manage the activities of our system. The application will be giving options to the user for selecting the type of vehicle, its model, the type of work that needs to be done on the vehicle, etc. Each activities or the type of work will be having its cost mentioned based on the vehicle type so that it becomes easy for the user. Once the user fills and submits all the required details needed by the system, a bill will be generated showing the total cost the user needs to pay. After payment the user must logout and login in when needed. The application on garage management which will be managing the activities of a garage online and providing a great service to the user online. It will provide the best service with online paper work which ease outs the manual work of the customers. Customers will not have to come and visit the garage physically and explain the www.irjmets.com @International Research Journal of Modernization in Engineering, Technology and Science [3292] e-ISSN: 2582-5208 International Research Journal of Modernization in Engineering Technology and Science ( Peer-Reviewed, Open Access, Fully Refereed International Journal ) Volume:04/Issue:05/May-2022 Impact Factor- 6.752 www.irjmets.com problem of vehicle and the work it needs. Instead, will have to fill in all the details asked by the system. The user might lose the manually done paper record/bills which leads to problems but with the help of this application the user will be able to pay the bill online and maintain their history safely. III. SYSTEM REQUIRMENTS Here we are including the software’s and hardware’s used for developing the project and implementing the project. Hardware requirements: Microsoft windows, 4GB RAM, 2GB of disk space. Software requirements: Java JDK, MySQL, Android Studio. IV. ARCHITECTURE Problem Statement/ Definition: The current manual garage system uses paper and direct human interaction to get work done on a vehicle. This consumes lot of time and increases work load. The application will provide the best service with online paper work which ease outs the manual work of the customers. The system will be able to record the service details of vehicles which was earlier done manually. Customers will not have to come and visit the garage physically and explain the problem of vehicle and the work it needs. Instead, will have to fill in all the details asked by the system and with the help of this application the user will be able to pay the bill online. Also the user will be given a time in which his/her vehicle will be ready for delivery or pickup.

Our group discussed about what software to use, design, features and many more aspects for our project. We started to: Collect and analyse data on the topic Prepared the flowchart Started on the code according to the algorithm and flowchart Compiled the code and eliminated any errors Compiled the code again and checked the output Presenting the project to the guide/mentor for confirmation Edited and revised the project Presented the report V. CONCLUSION Designing this project is to style a system that manage and handle the activities that are involved during a garage management system in an organized, cost-effective and reliable way. The system will be able to record the service details of vehicles which was earlier done manually. The main purpose of the application is to provide the best service with online paper work which ease outs the manual work of the customers. A data will be saved in the database to show which all spare parts are available in the garage, how many customers have visited till now, overall earnings of the garage. Also this app will have the data saved of the parts which are available and which parts are to ordered. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS We would like to thank and express gratitude to all those who contributed and supported us to plan our project smoothly and successfully. We would like to thank Mrs. Sonali Pawar, faculty of Computer Engineering of V.E.S. Polytechnic, for their guidance. We are whole-heartedly thankful to them for giving us their valuable time and knowledge to make us understand the planning process and hence providing a systemic planning of our project in time. VI.
