Admin LAW SYLLABUS Wesleyan
Course Description:
This course is designed for the students to appreciate and be familiarized with the
relevant laws, rules and regulations on the operations of the government including the relevant
laws concerning the accountability of Public Officers. This will also cover recent and landmark
Supreme Court decisions to better understand the concepts as applied by the SC in specific cases.
Course Materials:
All required readings will be made available at least one week in advance which will
consist of textbooks, selected articles, papers, essays and select jurisprudence.
The course will be graded, based upon class participation, class reports and a final paper.
Each student is expected to do the required readings, especially cases assigned, before class.
Course Requirements:
The teaching format will consist of online seminar-style student-led discussion via online
meeting, with the professor as a facilitator. The class will be a combination of synchronous and
asynchronous mode of classes.
Students are required to have strong connectivity and gadgets which will enable them to
attend classes religiously.
Other general requirements include regular class attendance for synchronous meetings,
class participation, a number of graded reaction paper and probably a final paper.
