Groundhog Day both reminds me of the movie starring Bill Murray

and the furry little creature that predicts our winter length. After
spending some time in the Canadian prairies over the holidays and
having cold weather make its way into the Pacific Northwest this
week, I’m ok with listening to that ball of fur if it predicts an earlier end
to winter. On the other hand, I’m a creature of habit and could do for
the mundane, repetitive life that Bill Murray lived in the Groundhog
Day movie for weeks if I could.

Either way, we will eventually need to consider Sprint (didn’t we just

finish the 2022 season?) and the change of routine that comes with it.
Moral of the story: Pace yourself in the current day in, day out loop of
pruning, training, weed management, or *earmuffs, Mr. Groundhog*
rodent control.
