I. What are the qualities that you are looking for in a leader? Identify at least 3 and
explain each.

QUALITY EXPLANATION

Authentic Authentic leaders find ways to convey their

genuine intentions through words and actions.

Compassionate Compassion in leaders creates a much more

stronger connection between people and ensures
a more empathetic work environment.

Integrity Integrity in leadership means having strong moral

principles, standing by your words, and doing the
right thing

II. Why is political participation important?

Our engagement in how the country is run is so much more important than we realize.
It will be far more difficult for a government to disregard the issues facing the
populace if everyone in that nation participates in politics. As a result, more political
participation should result in greater efforts to address societal and political issues.
When all people—individually and collectively—get involved and take action, our
communities and our democracy become more just and equitable. Young people also
have a massive stake in the decisions that shape the country. Young people can
provide insightful viewpoints to these concerns and actively participate in
determining their future when they vote and engage in civic life. If I were to engage in
politics, all the qualities of a leader mentioned above maybe a carried out.
