Development Board (NSDB), the Philippine Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC), and
the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST). Whereby through these
created organizations it balances and regulates the projects, researches, and short to
long-term work goals under the works of science agencies and departments. By
enhancing and supporting the development of the science department of the Philippines
in the 1960's the science organization created additional departments such as the
Philippine Inventors Commission, the Philippine Coconut Research Institute, the
Philippine Textile Research Institute, and the Forest Products Research. With these
particular board scope and groups, it greatly focuses on a specific area and its
objective.

Later years in 1982 the National Science Development Board (NSDB) gained a
National acknowledgment and became known as the National Science Technology
Authority (NSTA) that further produces the science organization field under the
authorized institute councils and policies. However, the science department
organization and the Philippines government are less likely to meet each need and
demand to support the researches and projects. Through the year's progress an
Executive Order No. 889 is proclaimed to secure and develop the Philippines' science
department thus establishing a good foundation for the young generations to pursue
and enhance the Philippines science researches and fields.

The Philippines science and technology is built through the colonialism of the
Spain and United States which result from a great impact on the country to go further
and strengthen the main foundation to develop and continued to aim for progress to
advance and adapt to the economic flow of the ever-changing of modernizing world.
The Philippines science field was showed through the historical years of development
and progress was greatly influenced by the colonies. The country adopted the economic
policies and flow which later raised a negative effect on the Philippines ' growth in such
fields as science researches and the education system.

sThough the Philippines reclaimed its independence from the colonies it still
