ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Within the decision of the Academic Council of SPbSPU from 27.12.10 (protocol 11) all tuition fees are given in rubles. For the 2011-2012 academic year in rubles.
Instruction by correspondence 65% of tuition fees. Second higher education 80% of tuition fees. In connection with the transition to new standards for the preparation of Bachelor and Master from 01.09.2011, the possible changes to the title of directions and programs.

REGISTRATION FEE: Registration fee in the amount of 2400 rubles should be paid when signing a contract for any type of program (the fee is non-refunded). If necessary an invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs can be issued. If an invitation needs to be issued once again a student should pay the SPbSPU cashier 1000 rubles. To apply for the invitation it is necessary to bring or to send via e-mail/fax the copy of the passport pages (those with the photo, name and surname, birth date and passport validity terms). DISCOUNTS: 10% from tuition fees rfo SPbSPU (Leningr ad Polytechnic) graduates of all types of programs, their children and grandchildren. 15% from Phprogram tuition fees for SPbSPU(Leningrad Po lytechnic) graduates with the first-class honor degrees. D ACCOMMODATION: Hostel accommodation is regulated by additional contract. Accommodation fees vary from 1900-6000 per month depending on the hostel and living conditions. MEDICAL SERVICES: To make a contract for any type of program , except correspondence, it is necessary to issue a medical insurance policy for the period of studies (medical insurance fee is fixed annually in August). DURATION OF THE CONTRACT: BSc 4 years (prerequisite complete high secondary school certificate); MSc 2 years (prerequisite BSc degree); for those who received Bachelor degree abroad the admission terms need to be fixed by the Faculty. Upgrading course at request (not more than 2 years); PhD 3 years (prerequisite MSc or Engineer); PhD (correspondence) 4 years; Doctorate course 3 years; PhD and Doctorate course for international students without knowledge of Russian language 4 years. If necessary, duration of study and hostel accommodation period can be prolonged by making an additional contract.
