1. Hardware Overview
1-1 Power
Receptor for the provided Power Adapter (12V DC, Maximum 2 Amps,
100-240V AC, 50-60Hz).

2. Installation
Requirements
The following are required when using the NAS.
HW Installation
We will begin the installation of NAS.
3. Window's Tool
The Quick Setup Wizard also is able to get the device default IP
(192.168.16.1) even you're in a different subnet, which will make you
more convenient to change the IP to the IP what you want.

3-1-1 Refresh List
Refresh List can help us to find all devices on the network (in the same
subnet). And it can also be able to get the default IP (even the subnet is
different). If we want to get the device from other subnet, the device's
gateway must be leave in empty or set it to the IP of the device.
Checked the “Don't input password next time” if you don't want to enter
the username & password next time when you want to enter the “Setup
wizard”.If we Unchecked it, it'll ask for username and password next time.

We're also allowed to change the description, time zone, date and time of
the device from here. After you change to the setting you want, click on
“Next”. If you want to leave the setting as it was, click on “Skip”.
Step 2
In this step we're can change the device IP, subnet, gateway and DNS.
After the set was done, click on “Next”. If you want to leave the setting as
it was, click on “Skip”.

3-1-4 Share mapping
Step 1
Input current administrator's name and password, and the default name:
admin, default password: root.
Step 2
Login name and password, mainly set Username and Password map from
remote share to local drive.
Map share to local, mainly select the share HD to map in local drive.
List of mapped share, show the mapped HD. Through Unmap and Unmap
all, it can delete the mapped HD.

Step 3
You can click these drives to browser the contents of the mapped HD.
4. Web
Just simply type in the NAS IP (default IP 192.168.16.1) in the browser
to enter the NAS web.

4-2 Administration

4-2-1-1 DHCP
Selecting this option enables the NAS to request an IP and auto-configure
itself to the network if there is a DHCP Server present.
NOTE:If DHCP Client is enabled, but there is no DHCP server, the DNS-120
will fall back to the default IP address of 192.168.16.1.
4-2-1-2 Static IP
Click this option if there is no DHCP Server present on the network or and
manually enter the network settings in the fields provided below this option.
DNS1 and DNS2 (both optional) If available, enter those IP addresses here
4-2-1-3 PPPoE
Choose this option when the ISP has been given the User Name and
Password to link.
4-2-2 System
The basic settings of NAS can be set at here. Including “Device Name”,
“Description”, “Date”, “Time Zone”, “Http Port” and the NTP, FTP server
can be enabling or disable in here too.
