Academic Stress This is one of the most common causes of stress in teenagers. They are worried about getting applied to a college. They have to balance their grades with time and sports. For most teens it is just too much to handle. Social Stress Teens place high value on their social life and their status on social media. They are very worried about how other people view them. This is another very common stress cause. Traumatic Stress Another common cause of stress could be a traumatic event they have experienced. It could be the death of a family member or be abused. This makes teens anxious and scared. 1st way to combat stress The first way to combat stress is to take a break from social media. This can allow the teen to build his/her confidence again. This will allow them to eliminate social stress. 2nd way to combat stress The second way to manage stress is to manage your time. This can allow you to get your work done. Allowing work to pile up is one factor of academic stress. 3rd way to combat stress The 3rd way to combat stress is to have a positive attitude. Having a negative mind will only make it worse.
