Jorden = earth; solen = the sun Stjernerne = stars; Månen = moon; Robotarmen = robotic arm
Rex called out the directions: “Op. Ned. Næsten. Tag fat!”
“Min bamse!” cried Rex.
Rex’s teddy must have floated out of the airlock.
Lingo closed the hand...
“Brug robotarmen,” he said.
Min bamse! = my teddy Op = up; ned = down; Næsten = almost; Tag fat = grab;
Brug robotarmen = use the robotic arm nej = no; Bamse er tabt = Teddy is lost
Her fishing rod!
Lingo swung the hook
Med krydsede fingre = fingers crossed Min ven = my friend; Lad os fejre det = let’s celebrate
Rex pressed a button and funky music boomed out.
Jeg danser = I dance; du danser = you dance; bamsedanser = teddy dances; vi danser = we dance Sig appelsin = say cheese
“Er du tørstig?” asked Rex. He squeezed big blobs of water over to
Lingo. “Det er vand,” he said. “Er du sulten?” asked Rex.
‘Sulten’ must mean ‘hungry’
thought Lingo. “Yes,” she replied.
“Også mig,” Rex agreed.
Er du tørstig? = are you thirsty?; Det er vand= this is water; Er du sulten? = are you hungry? Også mig = me too; Flødeis= ice cream
Lingo and Rex snuggled into bed.
