Core Subject Description: Students must be able to apply concepts and solve problems involving conic sections, systems of non-linear equations,
series and mathematical induction, circular and trigonometric functions, trigonometric identities, and polar coordinate
system.
Culminating Performance Task: The students are able to achieve mastery of core competencies needed as prerequisites to Basic Calculus as well as
other disciplines in Mathematics in general and apply their knowledge in Analytic Geometry, Series and
Mathematical Induction, and Trigonometry to solve real-life problems using appropriate mathematical tools.
