Personal Statement

I can’t say I'm smart or dumb. But I can say I'm both. Was born in Taiwan, moved to the US
when I was the age of 5. Didn’t know english, Didn’t know anyone except my parents. But the
thing is that, I am very grateful for what I am today and what I accomplished in these 18 years of
living on this beautiful planet. I learned English, I learned to make new friends, I learned how to
communicate with people, I learned how to read, I learned everything that a person can do. But
the most important thing I learned is to follow your dream and goals, and to never let go of that
dream or goal. Today, I am very glad to be a graduate of 2023. I never could believe I finally
had finished one stepping stone for my future, the only next step is to keep going and chasing
that future goal. And that is college, getting into med school, and hopefully becoming a Doctor.
My last statement is to thank all my friends and family who had supported me all these years,
they are the one why I am now. Thank you!
