    Annexure II

    MEDICAL EXAMINATION INSTRUCTIONS

    You will have to report empty stomach for your medical examination on specified date by
    08:00 A.M. You may come one day before the date of medical examination. We will make
    necessary arrangements for your stay. You may contact the concerned HR person for
    accommodation etc. Food and tea snacks etc. will be provided on chargeable basis. You
    must carry the Offer of Appointment along with valid ID proof & 4 Passport size
    photographs for medical examination. It is advisable to go through the detailed NTPC
    medical norms (also attached herewith) before reporting.

    JOINING INSTRUCTIONS

    1. You will have to report at assigned RLI/EDC latest by 9.00 AM for document
    verification and completion of joining formalities on the scheduled date. Contact Details of
    all reporting locations are enclosed in the offer mail. Please get in touch with the
    concerned NTPC officials to plan your travel/accommodation needs (if any) etc.

    2. As per terms and conditions of the offer, Joining TA by Air/AC-II tier train fare is
    admissible. In this regard, please ensure that tickets are booked through concerned
    airline/IRCTC official website only and not through any travel agency/firm/agent
    etc. Reimbursement will only be done as per actual charges of the airline/IRCTC.

    3. You will be required to join the services of NTPC immediately on your being found
    medically fit and completion of other joining formalities and as such you should come
    prepared for joining along with necessary personal effects and also for proceeding out-
    station if need be for training.
    4. Please also note that your name & your father’s name should appear uniformly on all the
    documents required to complete joining formalities. Otherwise, you must get the name(s)
    rectified on necessary documents OR are bring a Name Affidavit duly notarised by
    Competent Authority at the time of joining.

    5. Service Agreement Bond, as required, should be brought in original, duly completed in


    all respects at the time of joining.

    6. You may please carry enough money to take care of your stay, food, travel etc. till you
    receive the first month's salary.

    7. Please bring 10-12 Passport size photographs along with you, which will be used for
    opening bank account, applying for PAN card, etc.
