GENERAL Mechanical pressure type fully automatic buming equipment is generally composed of boiler control box, bumer and fuel supply pump. They can fully automatically control the water level, fuel temperature, fuel pressure, steam pressure and buming sequence of the boiler, carry out the protection and alarm of the boiler safety, Mechanical pressure type fully automatic burner falls into two kinds: burner for light diesel fuel and bumer for heavy diese! fue. Its working principle is as follows: Fuel is rotated, expanded, diffused and jetted from the fuel nozzle via fuel boosting pump or via high pressure fuel stream, make the fuel stream to be atomized, then, to be automatically ignited. Ventilator in the bumer is used for burning supporting by its air volume and air pressure .Adjust the parameters such as fuel jetting amount, fuel amount and air volume ete, and adjust the specification of flame hood, diffusion disk, and fuel jetting nozzle, the bu requirement of condition can be adjusted so as to meet the ferent thermal power equipment. Adjustment of flame hood and diffusion disk. Generally, the burner has been equipped with proper combustion head, flame hood, diffusion disk according to customer's requirement before the bumer is to be ex-factory. Ifthe power output of the bumer is to be reduced, then the gap between the flame hood and the diffusion disk should be reduced. ‘The methods for reducing this gap are as follows: ‘4. Move the flame hood from its original position toward the boiler chamber . Change the flame hood and diffusion disk with new specification, 2 Fuel pump & Ventilator Impeller of the ventilator is installed on the shaft of the motor. The fuel pump is connected with the motor and impeller by a flexible coupling. Therefore, the axial line ofthe motor, impeller and fuel pump are on the same centerline, Impeller and motor deliver the torque by the feather key. A countersunk screw and washer secure the impeller on the shaft. When the impeller is to be pulled away from the shaft, the pulling tool can be installed on two-threaded holes on the shaft. All the impellers have been statically and dynamically balancing calibrated, Out of balance is not allowed, Diameter of impeller and motor power is different for the different model ofthe burner. High-pressure fuel pump of the bumer is of SUNTEC low noise internal geared ‘Rear pump. Fuel pump is equipped with pressure-adjusting valve (with overflow valve) to keep its outet pressure to be at constant. The sucked fuel should be filtrated; otherwise the fuel pump will be damaged. To avoid the fuel pump to be ‘damaged due to operation without fuel, the pump should be filled with fuel and ‘evacuated the air before itis to be worked, Sucking the air into any connection of the fuel system is strictly prohibited, A filter is installed at the sucking inlet ofthe fuel pump so as to protect the fuel pump. Pressure gauge is installed at the outlet of the fuel pump for measuring the outlet pressure of the fuel pump. The outlet Pressure has been properly adjusted when the fuel pump is to be ex-factory. The users do not need to adjust the outlet pressure. If the outlet pressure is to be adjusted for special reasons, loosen the nut onthe overflow valve ofthe fuel pump before the buming is started. First, adjust to decrease the outlet pressure by anticlockwisely rotating the valve. Then, after the buring is started, slowly adjust to increase the outlet pressure to the required value by clockwisely rotating the valve, Then lock the nut on the overflow valve, Exceeding the rated pressure specified forthe solenoid valve is strictly prohibited. ‘When the imported fuel pump is to be used for the heavy fuel burner, maximum sucking resistance should not exceed 0.04 Mpa; maximum supply fuel pressure is (0.5 Mpa for Model E & TA fuel pump; highest fuel temperature is 90 ‘C. Fuel filter and protection gear is installed inside the model E pump. The filter should be ‘often cleaned according to the fuel condition, so as to prevent the pump from increasing the sucking resistance. When removing the filter, fist, remove the cover of the pump. After the filter has been cleaned, tightness of the cover should be ensured when installing the filter into the pump. ‘Three-phase asynchronous motor is used for the bummer. Its synchronous speed is 3,000 r/min; voltage is 380 V; frequency is $0 Hz. A flexible coupling is connected between the impeller shaft and fuel pump shaft Pump shaft extension should be ensured without axial force when assembling the flexible coupling, A 1.5 mm axial play should be maintained on the cross rubber piece of the coupling. 8, Adjustment of air volume 8.1 Airis sucked into the bumer via the throttle. A connecting shaft connects the shaft Of the throttle; it makes the throttle to be operated synchronously with the same direction under the control of servomechanism of throttle, 8.2 Principle of adjustment of switches for servomotor is as follows: 4. Adjustment of throttle location for partial load (small air) is obtained by adjusting the cam I; b. Adjustment of throtle location for full load (large cam Il; . Adjustment of open time of solenoid valve for controlling the working of nozzle It is obtained by adjusting the cam II. Angle indication is arranged between each cam switch. A small protuberance is marked on the cam switch. Angle value of protuberance between cams indicates the switching points ofeach switch relating to the throtle location (they are for reference only, value indicated by the indicating needle should be the correct value). Switches of servomotor in electric diagram is marked with symbol , I, Ill 1V, Their function is indicated on the electric diagram. Eletic diagram has been printed on the cover of the throttle controller. Explanation for control of burning sequence To ensure safe, economic and effective operation when the bumer is used for the thermal power equipment, buming should be cartied out according to definite sequence. Control of burning sequence of this bumer is accomplished by the boiler controller or by PLC (programmable logic controller) Control box of fuel boiler can control the water level, fuel temperature, fuel pressure, Pressure of compressed air and the buming sequence of the boiler; camry out safety protection and alarm. Please see the instructions and electric diagram for the details, Bumer with PLC can control the buring sequence and carry out safety protection and alarm when it is used in other thermal power equipment. 10. Trouble & troubleshooting If troubles are found, first, check its basic operational protection measures, Check the electrical connection b. Check the fuel supply co ©.
