International relations is concerned with, anticipates, and resolves public policy challenges
involving states, international governments, non-governmental organizations, and other subnational
entities that encompass politics, economy, and security. Furthermore, international relations will
develop as a result of how society expands and seeks to address the world's complexity.

b. Which Approach to International Relations do you prefer the most? Explain your answer in
not more than 2 short sentences.
Liberalism rejects the concept of power politics as the only possible repercussion of
international relations and embraces the idea of international collaboration for mutual advantages, as
war is never favorable, even in the invading country. It also protects the well-being of citizens and
nations by weighing the benefits and drawbacks of each action.

c. Identify an issue in global politics and relate it to your understanding of International


Relations. Discuss this connection in not more than 3 short sentences.
The crisis in Syria caused by the civil conflict allowed powerful Western nations such as the
United States, France, and the United Kingdom to intervene, providing diplomatic, military, and
economic assistance to the insurgency and its affiliated rebel organizations in Syria. The competitive
features and disputes of international politics are emphasized in international relations. In this way, this
ideology demonstrates the interactions of states and explains how state relationships impact state
interests and behavioral dynamics in war.
