Unit - 5

Money

Money is required for buying things or paying for the services.


• Indian money is called Rupees (₹ ) and paise(p).
1 Rupee = 100 Paise.
• Bahrain money is called Dinar and Fils.
1 Dinar = 1000 Fils.
1/2 Dinar = 500 Fils.

Addition and Subtraction of Money.


For both addition and subtraction rupees and paise must be separated by the point

Example
Add 19 rupees 80 paise, 12 rupees 25 paise and 10 rupees 20 paise.

42 . 25
42 rupees 25 paise.
